Digital Carpentry
Digital Carpentry is a YIS activity, meeting every Tuesday and Thursday. Student will be exploring the world of 3D graphics and Animation using form•Z. In the first week students learned to build basic shapes, navigate 3D space and use the Boolean tool. They built this pavilion, the roof was created by stacking two pyramids on top of each other and the Boolean tool subtracted the bottom one from the other.
This week they’ll be learning to build this hour glass. The whole model will be built using the lathe tool. Color changes will be specified with the Paint Brush and Surfaces palette.
